Recently, approximately 700 inhabitants of Nijkerk took part in a zero measurement on city marketing. On the basis of this, city marketer Machteld Beekhuis will soon come up with a multi-year strategy and plan that states what we want to achieve with city marketing for and in Nijkerk in the coming years.

In the meantime, the City Marketing Nijkerk Foundation keeps on going. PR employee Arnold Polinder pays attention to events in Nijkerk in all kinds of ways (see the Lekker Nijkerk Facebook page). Arnold and Machteld were also present at the Uitmarkt and spoke to various event organizers about what the city marketing organization can do for them.

The following will soon take place:

  • In November: a typical “Lekker Nijkerk” event in collaboration with the Nijkerk secondary schools and the catering industry. More information about this soon. Keep an eye on Facebook and our website!
  • From January: A welcome package for new residents and visitors, with products from Nijkerk and fun information to make as many people as possible enthusiastic about the center of Nijkerk.
  • An (offline) event calendar. Soon you will be able to take a cheerful calendar of events with you at various locations in the city (library, town hall, catering, sports clubs).

Of course, this isn’t all. In the coming months you will also encounter ‘Lekker Nijkerk’ more and more in the streets.
